Well, it's been a strange couple of terms, but we've coped just fine. Many of you opted for online lessons and it worked very well. Some people liked it so much, they want to stay online! And I really don't mind either way, as long as everyone is progressing and happy.
It's going to be lovely to see you all again in September, either face to face or online. We'll all be very refreshed after an excellent Summer, and ready to get lots of playing done.
ABRSM exams are up and running again, or at least they will be in November/December, so I'll be sending in entries where appropriate at the end of September. So any of you who have been awaiting the chance to do an exam will need to start practising hard before your first lesson of term.
ABRSM theory exams have gone completely online and, in my opinion, are now ridiculously easy...completely multiple choice. I'll admit I'm not at all happy about it, and may well be changing examination boards very soon. But for those of you who have been working for ABRSM, I'll be happy for you to complete your exams first.
Please all remember your mask/visor next term. This applies even if you are young enough not to need one for shops/school wherever. Because this is my family home, and in a more confined space.
I'm so looking forward to this term. I hope you are too.
