This was a truly splendid concert, with two halves, each lasting an hour. Some wonderful performances took place; for several people it was their first public performance - a very special time. From the administrative point of view, it was the first concert of this kind where everybody on the programme has actually performed - no illness or sudden holidays anywhere!
The refreshments team were wonderful as always, filling us all up with drinks and delicious cakes. Many thanks to Kim, Dawn and their dedicated crew. Thanks also to everyone from mmf who helped out on the day. These concerts just would not happen without all of you.
We made slightly in excess of £400, which is very welcome indeed.
