Many congratulations to everyone who took part in mmf this year; I was very, very proud of all of you. Everybody had worked so hard and deservedly received good marks and great applause. Several of you won medals and all of you received a written adjudication and a certificate. Some of you, who have been coming to the festival for years, must have a trunkful of them by now! Graeme Humphrey was, as always, an excellent adjudicator. He commented on how high the standard of performance was this year, and said it had risen a large amount since he was here a few years ago.
